1 INDIANA DUNES NATIONAL PARK PORTER, INDIANA STATEMENT OF WORK: INSPECTION AND TESTING OF WATER-BASED FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEMS DATED: 19 March 2026 NATIONAL PARK SERVICE INTERIOR REGIONS 3/4/5 OHIO MAJOR ACQUISITION BUYING OFFICE 2 STATEMENT OF WORK INSPECTION AND TESTING OF WATER-BASED FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEMS AT Indiana Dunes National Park PART 1 - GENERAL 1.1 Description of Work In accordance with this scope of work and the requirements specified herein, and with National Park Service (NPS) Reference Manual 58 (Structural Fire Management), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards and codes referenced in Section 1.5 of this scope and all other applicable NFPA codes, and Federal, State and local codes and regulations, Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, travel, parts and materials necessary to properly annually inspect and test fire sprinkler systems and their components at Indiana Dunes National Park, hereinafter known as “Park”, as specified herein, and any additions thereto.

Solicitation number 140P6426Q0124 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ) for Fire Suppression System Inspection Services at Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore (INDU). This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference. The full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at www.acquisition.gov. This requirement is a 100% total small business set-aside. The associated NAICS code is 561621. The small business size standard is $25M. Provisions and clauses are incorporated in this solicitation document.
