See the attached RFI for additional information. The U.S. Department of Justice/ Office of Justice Programs/ Bureau of Justice Statistics (USDOJ/ OJP/ BJS) is exploring the development of a national measure of law enforcement workload and activity that includes criminal and non-criminal police-public engagement. The concept of a national law enforcement calls for service (CFS) data platform is to establish a uniform, publicly available, event-based collection of law enforcement CFS captured in computer-aided dispatch (CAD) systems. BJS is seeking to understand the technical solutions that can automate the retrieval and standardization of information captured in CAD and can transform that information into an analyzable data system with uniform data elements and values.
