The purpose of this project is to procure comprehensive professional engineering services to conduct a professional design service for the modernization of the kitchen, cafeteria, and dining facilities located within the U.S. Embassy Compound in Bogotá, Colombia. The project encompasses a comprehensive site assessment of existing infrastructure, followed by the development of a complete final design package for the facility's renovation. At minimum, the selected design team shall produce: (1) Site Plan; (2) Demolition Plans (if applicable); (3) Floor Plans (architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and security features, existing vs. new work); (4) Spaces and Dimensions (1:100 metric scale); (5) Elevations; (6) Specifications; and (7) Construction Cost Estimate. These represent the minimum required deliverables; the A/E shall expand the level of detail, number of drawings, or scope of documentation within each category as necessary to fully and unambiguously convey the design intent across all eight design disciplines. Any such expansion is included within the Firm Fixed Price of this contract and shall not result in additional compensation or schedule relief to the Contractor. The modernization design must ensure deep alignment with the facility's specific operational constraints and mission requirements. Please be aware that open Solicitations will officially published at SAM https://sam.gov/ and the U.S. Embassy Bogotá at https://co.usembassy.gov/es/contratacion/ The Government intends to award a Contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable list of prices. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. Offerors are encouraged to register in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting their quotations/proposals. Registration in SAM is not required at the time of proposal submission.
