However, in accordance with FAR provisions, this procurement is being solicited as "Brand Name or Equal." The Government is not restricting this procurement to a single manufacturer; rather, the Ford F-350 is used to establish the baseline of quality, performance, and characteristics desired. Any equivalent commercial vehicle submitted by an offeror that meets or exceeds the salient characteristics (Attachment I) including the capability to be locally supported in the Philippines-will be considered for award. Offerors proposing an 'or equal' model must submit technical specifications demonstrating compliance with these characteristics. Failure to provide sufficient descriptive literature will result in the quote being rejected. Date(s) and place(s) of delivery and acceptance and f.o.b. point.
