Synopsis - Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Contract Department of Homeland Security (DHS) / United States Coast Guard (USCG) The U.S. Coast Guard intends to negotiate and award on a sole source basis an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to Lockheed Martin Corporation to procure sustainment support services for the Ports and Waterways Safety System (PAWSS), including Preventative, Corrective and Adaptive Maintenance services. This action is limited to support related to the Lockheed Martin proprietary core Maritime Traffic Management (MTM) series software product. The MTM-series software is the core Command and Control software within PAWSS. This is a follow-on to IDIQ contract 70Z04422DC2PL0002 and is for the continued sustainment of PAWSS. Based on market research, Lockheed Martin Corporation is deemed to be the only responsible source capable of meeting this requirement. Responses to this notice shall contain sufficient information to establish the bona fide capabilities of the interested party for fulfilling the requirements. Responses shall also reference the Notice ID in this notice and provide appropriate company information such as company name, address, SAM UEI, CAGE Code number, Facility Clearance (FCL), business size, and point of contact information. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to proceed on a non-competitive basis or to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses received by the Response Date/Time in this notice will be considered by the Government.
