Scott AFB intends to have all the existing automotive cleaning systems in the existing bays of Bldgs 570 (1 bay) & 548 (2 bays) removed, and purchase and install three new commercial industrial vehicle manual automotive cleaning systems. The contractor will furnish all design, labor and materials to remove the damaged legacy systems and install three new commercial industrial manual cleaning systems, complete with new motors, pumps, etc. Please see Attachment List for Statment of Work, pictures, layout and measurements. To be considered for award, offerors must have an active registration in SAM.

DescriptionThis is a Sources Sought Synopsis issued for conducting market research. This is NOT a Request for Quote (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP), or an Invitation for Bid (IFB). No solicitation is being issued at this time, and this notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The purpose of this notice is to identify potential qualified sources capable of providing and installing wash rack bays in two buildings on base, to include vacuum systems. 1. Description of Requirement: Purchase and installation of wash rack equipment. This equipment will be utilized to maintain the base vehicle fleet. The Contractor shall furnish all design, labor, equipment, material, transportation, administration, supervision, and all else necessary to remove all existing automatic and manual bay car wash systems, as well as replace and install three new commercial industrial vehicle manual automotive cleaning systems in existing bays of Buildings 570 & 548 (2-systems) on Scott Air Force Base. The services rendered will include the removal of any damaged lines, rubber, and metal associated with previously installed wash rack, installation of new equipment, basic operation/maintenance training to Ground Transportation personnel, and a 1-year maintenance and hardware warranty. The Contractor is responsible for verifying all technical aspects of the needed equipment. 2. Vendor Capability Questionnaire Interested parties must submit a brief capability statement addressing the following specific requirements. a. Technical Execution: Describe your company's experience and capability to procure and install all equipment required for wash rack bays, to include vacuum systems. b. Warranty & Technical Support: If awarded this contract, what standard manufacturer warranty do you provide for the equipment, and what are your capabilities for providing training post-installation? c.
