The primary purpose and objective of this project is to outline the scope for the design and construction of a new 7,900 feet high-pressure waterline, appurtenant systems, and associated control systems on the southeast side of KAFB. This project shall provide a robust and reliable water supply from Pump Station 2 (PS2) to the SOR and HERTF reservoirs, replacing and upgrading existing infrastructure. This includes an 8-inch, Class 350 Ductile Iron Pipe (DIP) with cement-mortar lining and an asphaltic seal coat and all associated valves and fittings, upgrade the existing control system to add SCADA to the newly installed system, Portable Hoist for Pump and Motor Maintenance, a new 15,000-gallon tank to include a booster pumps to be installed prior to the PS2, and a new 5,000-gallon tank and pre-packaged pump station at the SOR site. A site visit will be held on 03 September 2026 at 1300 MST and all parties will meet at the Truman Gate Visitors Center to be sponsored onto base at 1200 MST. Please submit the full names, date of birth, and citzenship of your attendees NLT COB 28 August 2026 and advise if you require base passes to access Kirtland AFB to the Mrs. Abigail Crespin, abigail.crespin@us.af.mil and TSgt Hillarie Johnson, hillarie.johnson@us.af.mil.
