The purpose of this contract modification is to increase the ceiling and add one additional option year of Engineering Support Labor requirements. The proposed contract action is for Configuration Management and Engineering Support Labor, for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.103-1(c)(2)(ii). L3Harris is the only vendor qualified and capable of meeting the Navy's schedule requirements to provide continued, uninterrupted support for Nulka Y Payload Assemblies. Parties interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact L3Harris directly. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government is not soliciting, nor will it accept, proposals as a result of this synopsis.
