N0016426RGW22 - Vertical Handling Adapters and Missile Extractor Loaders - PSC 1450 - NAICS 336419 Issue Date: 01 September 2026 - Closing Date: 15 September 2026 - 02:00 PM EST Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane has a requirement for the procurement of Missile Extractor Loaders (MEL) 8939689-001 and Vertical Handling Adapters (VHA) 8939750-001. The VHA will be attached directly to the All-Up Round+Canister (AUR+C) to facilitate the lifting, installation, and removal of canisters into submarines. The MEL attaches to the Upper Support Plate (USP) and interfaces with the VHA to use hydraulics for seating and extracting canisters. The manufactured products shall be produced exclusively at facilities located within 250 miles of 300 Highway 361, Building 41NE, Crane, IN 47522-5001. The Navy intends to solicit this five (5) year indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract on a full and open competition basis IAW FAR 6.1 after exclusion of sources as a small business set-aside IAW FAR 19.502-2. Delivery is required FOB Destination NSWC Crane. The solicitation will be made available posted on sam.gov. All changes that occur to competitive actions prior to the closing date will be posted to Contract Opportunities on https:/sam.gov/.
