This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source contract and is not a request for competitive quotes. Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard & IMF hereby publicizes its intent to solicit a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract for commercial services. In accordance with the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO), this action is executed under the authority of RFO 12.201-1 (Simplified Procedures for Commercial Products and Commercial Services) and is publicized in accordance with RFO 12.202(a) and RFO 5.101(a). In addition, the contractor shall provide an inspection report, service report and calibration certificate for each unit serviced. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 811210 and the Product Service Code (PSC) J066 Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment: Instruments and Laboratory Equipment. Additional details and specification can be found in the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). Tentative Period of Performance will be from 31 August 2026 - 30 August 2031. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. Submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary. The government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. To be evaluated for technical merit and capability, statements must be received by the stated deadline. In determining whether or not to compete this requirement, the Government has sole discretion.
