The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) requests information on existing NFPA 1970 certified and non-certified or mature developmental items to provide footwear protection from shipboard fire casualties. The firefighting boots will normally be in a stowed configuration on the platform, easily located, and worn by the user. Interest exists for commercially available rubber or leather firefighting boots meeting the requirements of NFPA 1970 and must be Berry Compliant.
