SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS (Not a Notice of Solicitation) DESCRIPTION: Notice from the United States Air Force, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Operational Contacting Division, Base Support Contracting Branch at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB), Ohio: INTRODUCTION - The AFLCMC Operational Contracting Branch at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, on behalf of the 88th Civil Engineer Group, is conducting market research through a Sources Sought Notice to identify potential sources, including Small Businesses (SB), capable of providing Base-Wide Furniture Maintenance (BWFM), telecommunications, and minor interior finishing support at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB), Ohio. This notice is for informational purposes only to determine the availability of qualified sources to support this requirement. A set-aside decision has not yet been made for this acquisition. Requirements: The 88th Civil Engineer Group (88 CEG) requires a contractor to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, and materials necessary to perform furniture maintenance, redesign, installation, and associated support services. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following core requirements: Furniture Maintenance & Installation: Disassembly, reconfiguration, and installation of various systems furniture (e.g., Herman Miller, Steelcase, Haworth, Knoll). Computer-Aided Design (CAD): Providing 2D and 3D layout designs and Labor & Material (L&M) quotes. Warehousing & Inventory Management: Managing and conducting inventory of Government-owned furniture assets within a Government-furnished, on-site warehouse facility. Telecommunications & Data Cabling: Coordinating and executing the routing of communication lines through furniture, including adherence to WPAFB standards for CAT6 and non-CAT6 cabling. Ancillary Interior Services: Providing minor interior finishing services incidental to furniture reconfiguration, which may include patching/painting, minor plumbing, and electrical adjustments as required. Safeguarding Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI): Adhering to strict policies for handling and storing facility floor plans. CAPABILITY STATEMENT REQUIREMENTS Interested parties are requested to submit a Capability Statement (no more than 7 pages). The statement must address the contractor's ability to perform the tasks outlined in the Scope of Work. Please include: Company Profile: Company name, address, POC, CAGE Code, UEI number, and socioeconomic status. Furniture & Design Expertise: A summary of experience with multi-manufacturer systems furniture and providing CAD layouts. Warehouse & Inventory Management: Your approach to managing a Government-furnished warehouse and inventory. Telecommunications & Ancillary Services (CRITICAL): A detailed explanation of how your company will execute the data cabling, electrical, plumbing, and painting requirements. Please specify whether this work will be performed by in-house technicians or through subcontracting/teaming agreements. Security Clearances: Confirmation of the ability to meet CUI safeguarding and base access requirements. Closing: RESPONSES ARE DUE NOT LATER THAN 28 September 2026 BY 10:30 AM EDT. Any information submitted by respondents to this notice is strictly voluntary and will not be reimbursed by the Government. The Government's assessment of the capability statements received will factor in whether any forthcoming solicitation will be conducted as a full and open competition or as a set-aside.
