SYNOPSIS: The United States Military Academy intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a Heavy Duty Material/ Mulch Blower Capacity 6CY level filled, for the Department of Public Works (DPW). This will be a Firm Fixed Price type contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 333112 Lawn and Garden Equipment Manufacturing. The Small Business Size Standard is 1500 employees. This procurement will be competed on small business set-aside. The source selection will be evaluated on price and product specifications. The solicitation process will consist of the following: Solicitation will be issued on/or about 28 August 2026 and will be solicitated through Unison Marketplace. Quotes will be due on/or about 8 September 2026. The selection process will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12 source selection procedures. Interested contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. This SYNOPSIS is not a request for quotation or a this solicitation fof offers. DescriptionSOURCES SOUGHT This is a Sources Sought Notice ONLY. The U.S. Government has a requirement for seeking to purchase Finn MBH6T Heavy Duty Material Blower at West Point, NY in accordance a small business set-aside basis, provided 2 or more qualified small businesses respond to this sources sought synopsis with information sufficient to support a set-aside. Be advised that the U.S. Government will not be able to set aside this requirement if 2 or more small businesses do not respond with information to support the set-aside. We encourage all small businesses, in all socioeconomic categories (including, 8(a) Business Development Program, Small Disadvantage Business, Historically Underutilized Business Zone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Women-Owned Small Business concerns), to identify their capabilities in meeting the requirement at a fair market price. This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ)/Invitation for Bid (IFB)/Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFQ, IFB or RFP in the future. A need is anticipated to procure Finn MBH6T Heavy Duty Material Blower Capacity 6CY level filled. 67HP Yanmar 4TNV98CT tier 4F water cooled diesel engine. Air pump delivering 750 cfm@12psi. Which includes 150' of 4" standard duty hose with quick disconnect couplers on hydraulically powered hose reel. 3 functional radio remote controlled operation (Material feed on/off, engine rpm and floor speed). Electric tarp system. Including delivery & set up. The Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC) West Point on behalf of the United States Military Academy (USMA) West Point, NY has a potential requirement and is seeking responsible sources to purchase these vehicles In response to this sources sought, please provide: 1. Name of the firm, point of contact, phone number, email address, DUNS number, CAGE code, a statement regarding small business status (including small business type(s)/certifications(s) such as SDB, 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB, etc.) and the corresponding NAICS code. 2.
