Notice description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. Using this format, no separate presolicitation is required and this announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Solicitation number 12363N26Q4224 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the 2026 LTBMU Hazard Tree Stewardship IRSC (Integrated Resource Service Contract). Award shall be made under the R5 Pacific Southwest Stewardship Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). Only current BPA holders are eligible to submit quotes. Quotes received from vendors that have not been awarded a BPA will be rejected; no evaluation of the submitted documents will be performed. The objectives of this project are to protect the safety and health of our communities and increase forest health and vigor by removing hazardous trees throughout neighborhoods on the shores of Lake Tahoe. This will be achieved by performing technical tree felling and removal of hazard trees around high value resources. This service acquisition is a total small business set-aside. The set-aside relates to the business status of the contractors submitting quotes and does not limit where the wood product may be disposed of. The assigned North American Industry Classification Code is 115310 - Support Services for Forestry. The small business size standard is 11,500,000. All responsible sources that have been awarded an R5 Pacific Southwest Stewardship BPA for work on the Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency. Solicitation was amended on 8/28/2026 to incorporate site visit notes into the solicitation via Attachment 10 and make small changes within Appendix A and the Unit Summary to address questions posed during the site visit. Respondents must acknowledge receipt of this amendment. Response deadline was not changed.
