Notice description

The purpose of this amendment is to incorporate Attachment 4: CATM Conveyor Auger Repair QA Government Answers and Attachment 5: DESCRIPTION OF COLLECTED SAMPLES_24 July 25.docx. The RFQ response due date will also be extended to September 4, 2026 5:00PM EDT. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Revolutionary Federal Acquisition Regulation Overhaul (RFO) Subpart 12.2, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; this is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a Request For Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through: Federal Acquisition Circular 2026-07 Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Public Notice 2026-02 This acquisition is set aside for 100% small businesses. The North American Industry Size Classification System (NAICS) code associated with this requirement is 811310. The Small Business Size Standard associated with this NAICS is $12.5M. The Government has a requirement for the repair or replacement of the Conveyor/Auger for the firing range at the Combat Arms (CA) compound, Building 2495, on Joint Base Andrews, MD. The system is currently non-operational due to hardened lead particulates and a broken connection between the auger discharge and the conveyor intake. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, materials, and supervision to safely remove the hardened hazardous material, remediate the existing spill, repair or replace necessary components to restore full functionality, and successfully complete a one-month (30-day) operational validation test in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS).
